Formatting Shapes and Adjusting Canvas Attributes in the Universal Model Editor
When working with a model artifact the Utility Panel can be used to format shapes, connectors and to make adjustments to the canvas.
Shapes
For shapes, the Format Shapes tab in the Utility Panel can be used to perform the following:
- Adjust a shape's position and size
- Change a shape's label font, font size, font color, and font alignment
- Change a shape's fill color
- Change a shape's border color, line style, and line weight
- For BPMN shapes, the Utility Panel can be used to add variations to a BPMN Shape
Connectors
For connectors, the Format Shapes tab in the Utility Panel can be used to perform the following:
- Define a connector's start and end points
- Adjust a connector's label font, font size, font color and font alignment
- Adjust the line color, line weight, line style and line type
- Adjust the start and end shapes
Canvas
For the Canvas, the Format Shapes tab in the Utility Panel can be used to perform the following:
- Adjust the Canvas size
- Turn the snap to grid feature on or off
