Discussions and Adding Comments in the Review Experience
Start a New Discussion in the Review Experience
To start a new discussion for a Review in the Review Experience:
- Click the Discussions icon () in the header of the artifact that you want to post a comment for.
- Click the + Start a New Discussion button under the Discussions tab of the Utility Panel that is displayed.
- In the rich text field displayed, enter the text for your comment, and then click Post Comment to post it to the discussion.
To mention someone directly, you can use the @-mention functionality; typing @, followed by a system user name, sends an email notification to that user once the comment is posted.
All comments and discussions become accessible to other participants, as well as the Review manager, as soon as they are posted. The Discussions icon is now highlighted in blue (), indicating that there is an ongoing discussion for the artifact.
Reply to a Comment in the Review Experience
To reply to a comment in a discussion that has been posted for an artifact in the Review Experience:
- Click the Discussions icon () in the header of the artifact that contains the discussion you want to post a comment for.
- Click Reply for the discussion you want to reply to under the Discussions tab of the Utility Panel that is displayed.
- In the rich text field displayed, enter the text for your reply, and then click Post Comment to post it to the discussion.

To add a new comment to an artifact in the Review Experience that has ongoing discussions:
