Create a New Folder in a Project

Click Projects in the Admin Portal. In the Projects page displayed, click Create Folder.

Click Projects in the Admin Portal. In the Projects page displayed, select the folder you want to edit.

About Project Artifact Types

Project Artifact Types refer to the set of all artifact types that might be used in your project. The list of Project Artifact Types includes all Standard Artifact Types, Custom Artifact Types, and Sub-Artifact Types that are available within your project.

Manage Project Artifact Types

To access and manage Standard Artifact Types, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Then click the artifact type that you want to manage.

Add a Custom Artifact Type

To add a Custom Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Click Add Custom Artifact Type and enter values for the fields available.

Edit a Project Artifact Type

To edit a Custom Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Then click the artifact type of interest and make your edits as needed.

Copy a Project Artifact Type

To copy a Project Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Then click the artifact type you want to copy and click Copy.

Assign Project Properties to a Project Artifact Type

To assign a Project Property to a Standard Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Click the artifact you want to assign a property to and then click Assign Project Properties.

Unassign Project Properties from a Project Artifact Type

To unassign a Project Property from a Project Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Click the artifact you want to unassign a property from, select the properties, click the Actions button and select Unassign.

Manage Sub-Artifact Types

To access and manage Sub-Artifact Types, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Then sort the artifact types available by category.

Delete a Custom Artifact Type

To delete a Custom Artifact Type, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Select the checkboxes for the Custom Artifact Types you want to delete, and then click the Actions button and select Delete.

Delete Multiple Custom Artifact Types

To delete Custom Artifact Types, click Projects and select the project you want to delete a Custom Artifact Type for in the Administration Portal. Under Projects, click Artifact Management and select Project Artifact Types. Select the checkboxes for the Custom Artifact Types you want to delete, click the Actions button and select Delete.

Enable a Standard Artifact Type in a Project

To enable Standard Artifact Types to be used in a specific project, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Select the Use in This Project checkbox as needed.

Disable a Standard Artifact Type in a Project

To disable Standard Artifact Types for a specific project, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Project and select Project Artifact Types. Clear the Use in This Project checkbox as needed.

About Project Properties

A Project Property refers to the descriptive data that is associated with an artifact or sub-artifact at the project level. All Project Properties are created by project administrators for individual projects.

Manage Project Properties

To access and manage Project Properties, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties and then click a property in the name column to see its details.

Add a Custom Property

To add a Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Click Add Custom Property, enter a name, select the type of property, and define the settings.

Edit a Custom Property

To edit a Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Click the name of the property you want to edit and then make your changes as needed.

Copy a Project Property

To copy a Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Click the property you want to copy, and then click Copy on the property's details page.

Add Valid Values to a Choice Type Custom Property

To add valid values to a Choice type Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Click the name of the Choice type property you want to add valid values to. Select Add Valid Value.

Edit Valid Values for a Choice Type Custom Property

To edit valid values for a Choice type Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Click the name of the Choice type property you want to edit valid values for and edit as needed.

Delete Valid Values from a Choice Type Custom Property

To delete valid values from a Choice type Custom Property, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Select the valid value checkbox, click the Actions button and select Delete.

To delete Custom Properties, select the project of interest in the Administration Portal. Click Artifact Management under Projects and select Project Properties. Select the checkboxes for the Custom Properties you want to delete, and then click the Actions button and select Delete.

About Project Templates

In the Admin Portal, you can define the makeup of the documents you generate and export in Blueprint to Word or PDF at the project level by creating and uploading Project Templates.

Add Project-Level Office Document Templates

To add a project-level Office Document Template to a Blueprint project, click Projects and then select the project of interest in the Admin Portal. Under Projects, click Advanced Settings and then select Project Templates. Click the Add Office Document Template button.

Edit Project-level Office Document Templates

To edit a project-level Office Document Template, click Projects and then select the project of interest in the Admin Portal. Under Projects, click Advanced Settings and then select Project Templates. Click the Project Template you want to edit.

Add User Inputs to Project-level Office Document Templates

To add user inputs to a project-level Office Document Template, click Projects and then select the project of interest in the Admin Portal. Under Projects, click Advanced Settings and then select Project Templates. Click the Project Template of interest and then click Add User Inputs.
