Add an Electronic Signature and Meaning of Signature to a Review

To add an Electronic Signature when enabled, click the drop-down in artifact header and select one of the statuses. In the eSignature Required modal, enter your username and password.

If the Review manager has enabled Electronic Signatures on a Review, you are prompted to enter your login credentials each time you change the approval status of an artifact.

When using bulk actions to change the approval status of multiple artifacts, you only have to enter your login credentials onceโ€”the electronic signature is applied to all selected artifacts.

If the Review manager has also enabled Meaning of Signature, you are required to choose your role or reason for submission, in addition to entering your login credentials each time you change the approval status of an artifact.

When performing bulk actions, only artifacts or updates with the same Meaning of Signature should be grouped together.

To add an Electronic Signature when enabled:

  1. Click the drop-down in the middle of the artifact header and select one of the available approval statuses.
  2. In the eSignature Required modal, enter your username and password and then click Submit.
    If Meaning of Signature is enabled, you have to enter your role or reason for submission in addition to entering your login credentials.
