Save and Publish Artifacts

When you create new, or edit existing artifacts, saving your changes creates "private drafts" on the central server that are not visible to other users until you publish them.

An artifact with unsaved changes is indicated with the unsaved icon () in the main content area beside the artifact name.

To save an artifact, click the Save button () in the artifact toolbar.

Artifacts that are saved but not published, are locked to other users and prevents them from making any edits on the artifact.

Publishing an artifact makes your changes to an artifact available and visible to other users. Users always see the last published version after opening an artifact.

To publish an artifact, click the Publish button () in the artifact toolbar. You can also use the Publish All button () in the main toolbar in the Explorer to publish all unsaved changes to every artifact across your project.
