About Project Templates
In the Administration Portal, you can define the makeup of the documents you generate, as well as the artifacts you export to a Word or PDF document at the project level, by creating and uploading project templates. It might be beneficial to use this feature if you are creating templates specific to a particular project in your instance.
You can also upload templates at the instance level. For more information on uploading templates at the instance level, see the Templates article.
Two types of Project Templates can be defined:
- Project-level Office Document Templates - the templates that determine the elements Blueprint pulls when generating documents
- Project Print Templates - the templates that determine the elements Blueprint pulls when exporting artifacts to PDF or Word
To access and manage Project Templates in Blueprint:
- In the Administration Portal, click Projects and select the project you want to view Project Templates for.To view Project Templates in the Administration Portal, users must have the "View Project Configuration" privilege in their Project Administrator Role. - Under Projects, click Advanced Settings and select Project Templates.
- For more information on how to perform specific actions with Project Templates, click one of the following options:
- Add Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Edit Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Add User Inputs to Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Edit User Inputs to Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Delete User Inputs to Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Copy Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Delete Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Delete Multiple Project-Level Office Document Templates
- Set or Reset a Project Print Template
- Download a Project Print Template
