Create a Process Artifact
A Process is a base artifact type that you can use to model business processes and user-to-system interactions.
To create a Process artifact:
- Select the folder, artifact, or project you want the new Process artifact to be added to.
- Click the New icon (
) in the main toolbar. - In the Create Artifact window displayed, select Process and name the Process artifact.
- Click Create.
The new Process artifact is loaded into the main content area.
A newly created Process always begins with a single task, which represents a user action, and is the basic building block for a Process.
A Process has a start and an end. All the things in between - tasks, as well as other objects that are explained in this help content - together represent the workflow you are defining.
A task represents a user action.
