Unassign Users from an Instance Administration Role

When users are unassigned from an Instance Administrator Role, they are no longer able to access the Admin Portal. If you still want users to be able to access the Admin Portal, consider assigning them to a different Instance Administrator Role.

To unassign users from an Instance Administrator Role:

  1. In the Administration Portal, click User Management and then select Instance Administrator Roles in the side panel.

  2. In the Instance Administrator Roles page displayed, click the role you want to unassign users from.
  3. In the page displayed with the role's details, click the User Assignments tab.
  4. Select the checkbox for the user or users you want to unassign from the role.
    You can also use the search bar at the top of the table to search for the specific users you want to unassign from the role.
  5. Click the Actions dropdown and select Delete.
  6. A warning modal is displayed indicating that when users are unassigned from an Instance Administrator Role, they are no longer able to access the Admin Portal. If you still want users to be able to access the Admin Portal, consider assigning them to a different Instance Administrator Role.
    Click OK in the warning modal to proceed.
